I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. This means I have completed an accredited graduate and post-graduate training program in psychology. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University in February 2020 and became fully licensed as a mental health counselor in March 2022.
I completed my practicum and internship in a little more than a year at a community mental health agency supporting families and youth from December 2018 - January 2020 under the supervision of Carolyn Bohnen, LMFT. In March 2020 I started working at Beautiful Autism and have worked with a variety of clients including young children up through adults and families. Late in 2020, I started working on my private practice business plan and starting May 2021 officially opened All Creations Counseling.
Prior to my experience in the mental health field, I worked for the Boeing Aerospace Company for 10 years and worked with a diverse group of people. This time at Boeing shaped how I view people and taught me about life and how various life events and transitions can impact each member of a community.
I have worked with a variety of clients in a variety of situations. I have experience working with teens, LGBTQAI+, adults, and families processing through self identity issues, self esteem, family conflict, divorce, trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. I have worked in community mental health and in a group private practice for the last two years. I enjoy working with tweens, teens, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds as we learn and grow together in therapy.
I offer a supportive and collaborative space where individuals can safely explore their emotions, thoughts, and personal experiences. My counseling style is grounded in a client-focused, compassionate approach that values authenticity and emotional safety. I incorporate mindfulness-based strategies and evidence-informed tools to help clients cultivate present-moment awareness and manage challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm with greater resilience.
With deep respect for each person’s unique life path, I bring a holistic, trauma-informed lens to my work. As a military veteran, I hold a nuanced understanding of trauma and its lasting effects on mental and emotional well-being. My approach integrates mindfulness practices with cognitive-behavioral techniques to support healing, foster self-awareness, and empower clients to regain a sense of control in their lives. I’m committed to walking alongside you as you navigate your growth and healing journey—at your pace, and on your terms.
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, body dysmorphia, women’s issues, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and equipped with the tools you need to move forward with confidence and clarity.
